IMBOLC WOMENS IMMERSION

6-9th February 2026 - Carmarthenshire, Wales

Join us in circle around the hearth this Imbolc for a 3 day gathering of a different nature ::

We are re-imagining and dreaming a new world through the alchemy of wintering. We invite you to into this circle of women with all the darkness you may be carrying : from your lives, the world, and the grief of all that is here, and all that has been.
Through the technology of the circle, crafting and the fire, we will alchemise the depth of our beingness into tangible beauty, with -

ANCESTRAL CRAFT ::
spinning & weaving the threads of our lives into a wild cloth of belonging

STORYTELLING :
re-weaving the mythic and ancient into the circle

SINGING :
using our voices to express, connect, circle & remember this ancient tradition of togetherness

DREAMING :
allowing our subconscious to reawaken our connection to the deep-time

This will be an opportunity to rest, dream and harvest the jewels of winter’s depths before the new year and blossoming of life begins once more -
a chance to gather round the sacred hearth in a village of women, remembering the ease and deep fulfilment that comes when we gather on the land in this way.

Other offerings included :

Grief Ceremony
Plant baths
Ancestral Food
Sharing circles
Hot tub & Sauna
Cosy retreat house on a beautiful piece of land

Amidst these offerings, there will be a totally guilt-free permission slip to take yourself off for naps under the trees, to journal and be with the land, or to simply go back to bed and rest. Our biggest desire for you is for this to be a place of complete winter nourishment - in whatever way your heart is most yearning for.

Our true mission with all of our immersions is to create real, honest, safe spaces for women to come together and remember the power of our ancestral traditions as medicine for these times : song, craft, fire tending, ceremony and togetherness is the deepest balm for the wound of separation, unbelonging, the sister wounds and so much more - we continue to be blown away with every immersion by the power & simplicity of this way of healing, together as women.

ANCESTRAL FOOD AS MEDICINE

A huge part of our personal healing journeys have been a return to the sacred act of honouring the life of the more-than-human around us and bringing them, in a reverent, conscious and loving way into our bodies, recognising that this is how the people of these lands would have been eating for thousands and thousands of years before us.
ALL of the food we serve on our immersions is local, organic & lovingly prepared by the hands of the women in our community.
Vegetarian and Vegan options are of course available at every meal, but it is important to note that these animal beings will be present.

We are more than encouraging for those wanting to learn the beautiful skill of tending & preparing game meat over the fire and all that comes with that.

MEET YOUR GUIDES::

  • MAE BIRD

is a ceremonial musician, song-writer and creator of Hearth-song mystery school. She is devoted to tending the collective hearth of the world with song and ceremony, weaving the wisdom of nature through healing medicine music and guiding people to remember the power of their voice.

Mae has been in a deep study of ceremony and the wisdom of connecting to Mother Earth as a healer and teacher for over a decade, dedicating her life to rewilding her body, mind and spirit so she can be a clear vessel for life to flow through.

She has created a life in close relationship to the earth, living in off grid communities all over the world for over ten years, studying permaculture and ancestral skills. She now lives in an eco village in Cymru, and is devoted to tending the land and learning how to be in right relationship to the elements and all of life.

  • MAIREAD

is a song weaver, musician and land tender from the bonnie lands of Scotland. Her path in the healing arts of music, ritual, and ceremony have been a deep and transformative home-coming to the medicine of Ancestral life ways, earth-based spirituality and the importance of sacred Women’s Work at this time on the planet.

Her many years experience living off grid, mostly nomadic, learning from communities and cultures all over the world has ignited a deep purpose in her to guide people home to the nourishing, soulful ways of our ancestors - especially those of the Celtic Isles, through song & craft & nature connection.

She has a degree in Adventure Tourism and spent most of her younger adult life training, teaching & guiding both children and adults in outdoor sports such as climbing, mountaineering, kayaking and skiing. She is honoured to now weave this part of her expertise with her passion for ancestral life ways & women’s work to contribute to this nourishing and adventurous immersion in the highlands of Scotland.

What women are saying about our immersions :

  • ‘I feel I will never be able to adequately put into words how transformative, inspirational, changing, calming, soul inspiring and wild my time on the rewilding retreat really was. What i can tell you is the girls are kind, knowledgable, deeply connected people who will keep you in a space that feels both safe and wild, and will allow you the freedom to deeply connect both with yourself, the group, ancestors and the land. I truly hope for everyone to be able to have this experience, one will come out a better person to have been touched by their magic.’

    Molly

  • 'The Circle of Women immersion was truly a treasure of an experience. So authentic, intentional, grounded, and carefully tended. I have a new level of respect for sisterhood and the power we as women have to resurrect ancient and needed ways of being together with the Earth in ceremony. I am thankful for the vision and wisdom of each facilitator and am looking forward to see what they continue to create and shine into the world'

    Willow

  • ‘Emerging from our days in the wilds together was like emerging into life anew, nourished to the bones and tender hearted from all the beauty that naturally arises from simply spending time with other women on the land. Simple, yet utterly profound. It was so far beyond what I could have ever imagined, and my heart was opened wider than I thought possible. We were so tenderly cared for and fed with so much beauty - whether that was song, ceremony, time to craft, or space to simply be and stretch into the timeless time that invites true intimacy with the land. Plus of course the food that filled our bellies (which was nourishing beyond belief and so carefully and lovingly prepared). The depth of holding that Mae, Mairead and Lucy brought to this space was extraordinary, and I’ll carry what we experienced together with me for a very long time.’
