CiRCLE OF WoMEN
womb & wisdom retreat
28th August - 1st September
Pembrokeshire, Wales 2025
welcome home, sister
this summer :: we warmly invite you to join us on the sacred lands of Cymru :: the Preseli hills in the Wild West of Wales 🌀
Circled in sisterhood around the fire, we will come together to reawaken our ancient memory: the embodied wisdom of the wild feminine.
Held in the womb spaces of the tipi and sweat lodge, reclaim your indigenous birthright as a daughter of these lands, remembering the ways of ceremony, ancestral craft, communal living, safe sisterhood, and connection to the natural rhythms of your body as part of the landscape.
Our intention for this 4 day deep dive is to provide a safe and loving container for you to be held in the journey of reclaiming your true kinship with the land, your womb, the ancestors, and with each other as a village of women - holding and supporting in a circle:: as we journey deep into what it truly means to embody the wild & feral feminine.
In our time together we will be exploring themes of slowness, ancestral lifeways, the village, intention and belonging as we partake in a number of practices, ceremonies & activities designed to awaken remembering in us that we belong to the earth & her rhythms and cycles of change.
Some of these offerings include ::
EARTH MEDICINE CEREMONY,
SWEAT LODGE, SONG CIRCLE,
WOOL SPINNING AND PEG LOOM WEAVING,
WOMB DANCE,
WOMB WISDOM AND FEMALE BODY LITERACY TEACHINGS,
SILENT NATURE WALKS, WILD SWIMMING,
ANCESTRAL FOOD
&& plenty time to slow down, tune in and connect with yourself and the elements 🌀
CEREMoNY
During our time together on the land and in circle, we shall be dropping deep into what it truly means to be in ceremony with each other, the ancestors, and the medicines of the Celtic Isles.
Our two main ceremonies will be held in the embrace of womb-like structures - the tipi and the sweat lodge - transporting us back to the circle of women our female ancestors knew so well, and grounding us into the earth as we become closer than ever to the elements of fire, earth, water and air.
In our first ceremony, we shall be sitting with ancient Celtic earth medicine and journeying together in a safe, trauma-informed space with our incredible Maggie Josephine guiding the ship (read in ‘meet your guides’ for her extensive experience in this role) with loving support from Mae, Emma, Mairead and Yeshe who also have extensive experience supporting medicine journeys and facilitating healing experiences.
Our resident Mama bear Yeshe, who has been holding sweat lodge in Tipi Valley for over 14 years, shall be guiding a ceremony into the womb of the mother - the sweatlodge - to commune with ourselves, the unseen, and the earth in a powerful and transformative journey with the fire, water, smoke and mother earth.
The way we will be holding sweat lodge has very much grown from these lands, not appropriating other traditional ways but honouring how sweat lodge culture has grown in these lands over the last 40 years, as practiced in Tipi Valley, Tir Spridol and others that hold this tradition of praying in this manner.

THE ViLLAGE
In our 4 day immersive together, our intention is to become as much a part of the land and the elements as we can, re-creating a ‘village’ of women who’s life circles around the fire; through cooking, making ceremony, crafting and simply staying warm in the sometimes harsh West Wales weather (although let’s pray for sunshine this August!)
We shall ALL be camping on the land, creating a village of temporary dwellings, with our tipi lodge in the centre acting as our communal meeting space & ceremony space.
We shall be cooking as many of our meals on the fire as we can (weather permitting), and all be involved in the day to day running of our camp - fetching water, chopping wood, food prep, and tending to the upkeep of our little women’s village (all are optional but encouraged - physical abilities will of course be considered)
We will have a very special offering of ANCESTRAL FOOD for our gathering - creating meals from the flora & fauna around us and offering local & organic meat from the West Wales area (there will always be vegetarian options of course).
Please see adjacent (or below if on mobile) our pricing menu which we have taken careful consideration to provide for all financial situations -
Please note payment plans are available for all levels except the early birds , so if this suits you better please don’t hesitate to let us know.
The deposit to secure your spot will be £100.
We are offering a few lower priced places to single mamas and for bipoc community, as we truly want this immersion to be available for ALL WOMEN, with no exclusion through privilege.
Please reach out to us personally if you would like to request one of the BIPOC or single mama bursary spots, or if you have any other requests or queries around the exchange - we are here to make this possible for you!
If you have the ability to pay the abundance gift, it directly helps those who cannot afford this opportunity and helps us as facilitators keep this work sustainable.
We have the deepest trust that every single one of these places will go to the perfect mandala of women who will weave and help us co-create the most beautiful time together in the incredibly powerful lands of the Preselis.
