Her many years experience living off grid, mostly nomadic, learning from communities and cultures all over the world has ignited a deep purpose in her to guide people home to the nourishing, soulful ways of our ancestors - especially those of the Celtic Isles, through song & craft & nature connection.
She has a degree in Adventure Tourism and spent most of her younger adult life training, teaching & guiding both children and adults in outdoor sports such as climbing, mountaineering, kayaking and skiing. She is honoured to now weave this part of her expertise with her passion for ancestral life ways & women’s work.
ANCESTRAL FOOD AS MEDICINE
A huge part of our personal healing journeys have been a return to the sacred act of honouring the life of the more-than-human around us and bringing them, in a reverent, conscious and loving way into our bodies, recognising that this is how the people of these lands would have been eating for thousands and thousands of years before us.
ALL of the food we serve on our immersions is local, organic & lovingly prepared by the hands of the women in our community.
Vegetarian and Vegan options are of course available at every meal, but it is important to note that these animal beings will be present.
We are more than encouraging for those wanting to learn the beautiful skill of tending & preparing game meat over the fire and all that comes with that.

TESTIMONIALS
‘We live in a world where we are increasingly disconnected from ourselves, others, and nature itself. If you feel called to break out of the fog and reconnect with your heart and the earth, I highly recommend a retreat with these Women. You will be welcomed and lovingly guided through ritual and sharing. You will be nourished with foods from the earth, song, and ancient crafts that remind you of the human capacity to create. Mairead, Mae, and Lucy are gifted leaders in the space of women’s circles. My retreat experience is a blessing that continues to ripple through my life.’
‘The Imbolc Immersion was such medicine to my heart & soul! I felt a great sense of magic between the facilitators and attendees, really felt like we created a village while I was there. Everything from the space, land, food, craft and songs were just what I needed. I would highly reccomend anyone that’s feeling the call to say YES! ‘
Such a special and unique retreat has been put together by these women. Truly a space for us simply to be & honor our own needs in each moment. I walked away feeling nourished grateful and grounded with a deep shift that was able to start through the space held by these ladies’
